We were commissioned by Saxon Wright, of Pablo & Rusty's to collaborate on a space that would serve as an 'industry unique' training bar for barista's and wholesale clients at the Pablo & Rusty's Roastery and Head Quarters.
The space would offer a range of services incorporating a filter bar area with plumbed in sparkling water tap, a workshop style setting with an in-set automatic projector and tiered seating, as well as house a range of world-class equipment and espresso machines with a filtered water system. The design was informed from the beginning, the team knew exactly what they wanted to achieve from the space - which made it a smooth process for launch. The elements used included American Oak waterfall table tops by Nathan White of Mr & Mrs White, Hex Marble tiles from Beaumont Tiles, and in-set cupboards designed specifically for barista use, designed deeper and wider for working access.
The project took three weeks to construct, and was launched in conjunction with a reveal of the Gravimetric Black Eagle designed by World Barista Champion James Hoffman who attended the launch.
